Materials and Care Guide
Materials & Care Guide
Verdennova jewellery is made for people who love natural texture, small imperfections, and pieces with character. This guide explains the materials we use, how each piece is finished, and how to care for your pearls and gemstones after purchase.
Our Pearls
Many Verdennova designs use freshwater and baroque pearls selected for their lustre, organic shape, surface character, and natural glow. Because pearls are formed by nature, no two are exactly alike. Slight differences in shape, tone, surface markings, and size are part of what makes each piece personal.
Natural Gemstones
We use selected natural gemstones for colour, depth, and texture. Natural stones may show small inclusions or tonal variation, which should be expected and appreciated rather than treated as defects.
Metals & Finishes
Depending on the design, Verdennova pieces may include 18K gold-plated components, titanium steel chains, plated brass details, or other jewellery findings selected for the look and structure of the piece. Product pages list the key materials for each design wherever possible.
Handmade Character
Every handcrafted piece may carry tiny differences from the product photos. We photograph our jewellery in natural light to show colour and texture as clearly as possible, but the final piece may vary slightly because of pearl shape, stone tone, and hand-finished details.
How To Care For Your Jewellery
- Keep pearls and gemstones away from perfume, lotions, hairspray, and harsh chemicals.
- Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, sleeping, or exercising.
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wear.
- Store each piece separately in a pouch or jewellery box to avoid scratches.
- Avoid pulling chains, charms, or hand-adorned details with force.
